“Oy vey! Nico’s pimping out another one of his ridiculous projects.” You probably said those words (or some variation depending on your predisposition to using old Yiddish clichés) to yourself before clicking on the link to this blog. I get it, my online antics are getting old. You’re tired of my stupid face clogging all your social media timelines, pathetically promoting a podcast wherein I talk about how toilet paper is ruining America. Granted, I’m sure some of you really dig it. Those are the people that hang on to my every word, eagerly awaiting the next tweet or podcast rant from America’s favorite college student. Ok, maybe I’m getting carried away. Regardless, most of you subscribe to the “less is more” philosophy when it comes to Nico. You like Two Cents Radio, you tolerate the Nico Show from time to time, but you don’t need anymore. So when you first read “The Nico Blog” on Facebook or Twitter, you understandably responded with disdain. Please allow me to put your mind at ease.
Believe me, the last thing I need to do right now is spread myself thin with another undertaking. For the time being, podcasting is my jam. It’s what I love to do, and I will continue to work hard on the Nico Show in the hopes of it becoming a big thing someday. But in the meantime, I’ve had some ideas that I don’t think quite lend themselves to podcast form. I want to start writing stuff. The kind of stuff that I would rather put out as a blog post instead of screaming it. I may even discuss topics on the podcast that I want to expand upon in writing. So this is the website I’m going to use to house these pieces. Nothing on a regular basis, just an open space for me to post my ramblings from time to time. I don’t expect to gain some huge following as a blogger, it’s just so I have the forum if I need it. So think of this site as the central command center for all things Nico. A place that takes all my trash from around the Internet, and combines it into one giant dump heap of narcissism.
That’s my pitch. I hope you check back here every once and a while to see what I’m writing about. And I sincerely pray that you bear with me as I teach myself how to write for a blog. As I write this post now, I’m beginning to realize how much of a skill that truly is, to be succinct and interesting rather than wordy and self-indulgent. Clearly I’m failing so far. Anyway, thanks for the continued support of all that I do. While you’re here, please consider clicking on the Nico Show or Two Cents Radio and listening to the latest episodes. They’re pretty good shows in spite of me being on them. And keep an eye out for more narcissistic garbage to start piling up in the coming weeks.

Do you have homework or?
I prefer reading your opinions.. I can do it from just about anywhere. And, I find people tend to be more economical with their words when they write (while revealing so much more about themselves), as opposed to when they talk. Writers tend to make their point and move on…they’re less repetitive, therefore less intrusive on my time.. So, wether I’m your target audience or not, I will check in to your blog from time to time.
