So today, something finally happened that I was willing to write a blog post about. As some, or none, of you know, there is a company called Loot Crate. Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box for geeks and the works. I was subscribed to this service a while ago and eventually stopped because I was running short of money (as I do in often life). Well, after a while I eventually had enough money from scratch tickets and birthday cards and whatnot to pay for the year outright. After getting the May box, I was expecting not to see another one until close to the end of June. However, this morning as I am leaving to go to work, what do I see on my front stoop? A Loot Crate box. “But Zakk, how is that possible?” Well kind reader, let me tell you. I don’t know. But what I do know is the contents of the box…would you like to know? “Yes oh wise one.” Inside this random box was two things. A X-Files flashlight from the January crate, and a Mockingjay pin from the November crate. Now the cheap side of me took those things with no thinking and kept them. The curious side wanted to understand this strange delivery, and upon further investigating I have discovered…
